Helena Patacão invited for the celebration of the 40th anniversary of Dan Cake

We were present at the solemn commemoration of the 40th anniversary of Dan Cake, where we took the opportunity to announce Dan Cake's commitment to environmental responsibility as a means of reducing CO2 emissions and combating climate change.

Since January 2018 both plants (Santa Iria and Coimbra) only consume 100% renewable energy, as part of the energy rationalization plan established by the company and managed by Helena Patacão Investments.

Other measures are already being considered in order to comply with the EU's assumption of 32% of renewable energy by 2030.

The President of the Portuguese Republic, Dr. Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, presided over the session, which awarded the insignia of Grand Officer of Industrial Merit to the President of Dan Cake, Kantilal Jamnadas.
