THE FOUNDER

Helena Patacão is a Portuguese entrepreneur based in Dubai. She is the Founder & CEO of Helena Patacão Energy Services, working in the development of energy systems designed to improve access to reliable and independent power sources in challenging environments.

With academic roots in IT, Computer Science, Business & Administration, Electricity & Magnetism, Electrochemical Energy Systems, Electrostatics & Electrodynamics, Quantum Physics, Quantum Mechanics, and Neuroscience, Helena remains a lifelong student dedicated to continuous learning and technological evolution. Her work is guided by a deep interest in understanding the role of energy in both physical systems and human potential, with the aim of contributing to a more advanced, conscious, and resilient future for humanity.

She has built her career around a deep technical and strategic understanding of energy systems and advanced physics principles, combined with a strong drive to create practical solutions for real-world challenges.

With nearly 2 decades of experience in the energy sector, her work focuses on energy architecture combining engineering, sustainability and practical autonomous solutions independent from the grid, generating power through clean energy sources for real-world application. She has led projects across Portugal and the UAE, and she is currently collaborating with several countries in Africa for the deployment of independent systems, leading projects for several innovative initiatives across the Continent.

Her professional journey includes the launch of the Energy Independence Program (EIP) and the most recent pioneering project Hydro Elektra Systems, where she continues to explore resilient energy and water infrastructure concepts for future housing and remote applications.

Over the years, she has received several industry recognitions for entrepreneurship, performance, and service across different organizations in the energy sector.

Her personality and professional discipline have been profoundly shaped by Karate training since the age of 7. This lifelong practice developed her discipline, energy awareness, focus, humility, resilience, and precision — qualities that directly influence her leadership style, decision-making, and approach to complex systems. She is a Karate Master and Human Performance Mentor, working with individuals to develop discipline, mental clarity, and high-level performance.
